Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham calls himself a devotee of Hanuman ji. Dhirendra Shastri claims that by coming to Bageshwar Dham, the disease can also be cured. He explains the grace of Hanuman ji behind this. At the same time, he has also announced to build a cancer hospital. Regarding this, when he was asked that when the disease can be cured by coming to the Dham, then why there was a need to build a cancer hospital.
‘Prayer and medicine, both necessary’
On this, Dhirendra Shastri said, “Dua and medicine, both are necessary. We did not say that we are against doctors.” He told that a dispensary has been opened near the Bageshwar Dham temple. He said that there is medicine below and if you do not get well there, there is prayer above.
He told that “The talk of medicine and prayer is not new. We have not added. The doctor himself says. If the doctor does the operation and is not successful, he also says to pray.”
‘Everyone builds temples, we will build cancer hospitals’
Dhirendra Shastri has mentioned many times during his religious discourses to build a cancer hospital. A video of a discourse in Bundelkhand is available on YouTube. In this he explains the reason behind building a cancer hospital and says that everyone builds temples. We thought that we would build a cancer hospital, not a temple.
He further said that we are from Bageshwar. There is arrangement for both prayer and medicine. Many poor people live in Bundelkhand. Not everyone can get cancer medicine done.
All donations will go to cancer hospital
He said, till now whatever donation used to come, he used to spend it. Now we have taken a rule that out of whatever donation comes, the entire amount will be used for the construction of cancer hospital, except for arranging our own food.
He also told its date. Shastri said that by 2028-29, in any case, the poor will start getting benefits in the Maharog Cancer Institute Research Center in a small amount.
